What We Do

An organization dedicated to providing free legal services and representation to children caught in the immigration process. Our services cover family members as well, since children are safe only when they have a parent or caregiver that is able to provide safety for them.

Our focus is to provide holistic services to our clients through our partnerships. This includes legal services, mental health services and housing. We use a trauma-informed approach with all of our clients so that they are allowed dignity and respect throughout the process and are not further victimized.

Services We Provide:

Immigration Legal Screenings

Through our partnerships with WINGS, a non-profit domestic violence service provider in Metro Chicago, the Children's Legal Center provides free monthly immigration legal screenings and free immigration legal services to any victims seeking relief.

Removal Proceedings

The Children's Legal Center is an approved EOIR Pro Bono Service Provider providing free immigration legal services to children facing removal proceedings.
